Are you tired of waiting for a raise that never comes?

Do you wish that you had the same rights as other managers who are represented by a union?

Do you want to have legal counseling and professional guidance when you have a problem in the workplace?

If you answered YES to any of the above questions, you need to join PSMA!

In 2009, PSMA successfully lobbied to establish bargaining rights for managers in State government. Unfortunately, not all managers were eligible at the time to secure the same rights. However, under a new administration and with the assistance of IBEW, we can work to change the law to create additional bargaining units for more managers!

What We Offer

PSMA needs the support of all managers to change the law to expand collective bargaining rights for managers. · The stronger the support behind PSMA…the stronger voice for change!

PSMA has been the Constitutional Representative of NJ’s non-aligned managers since 1992.

PSMA has been well represented in Trenton by MBI-GluckShaw, a premier Trenton government affairs firm, to help navigate our association through Trenton.

PSMA has funded a Political Action Committee for years which contributes to elected officials that support our cause. · Members can voice their opinion to legislators on issues critical to managers via our Legislative Action online system.

PSMA offers counseling and representation for grievance and disciplinary actions.

We provide monthly newsletters, email updates and offer a discount movie ticket program.

We are affiliated with IBEW Locals 30 & 33 representing more than 700 managers and 400 Deputy Attorneys General.

Dues are reasonably set at $13 per pay and have never increased since 1991.

PSMA hosts a Retirees’ Network and works to ensure that present and future State retirees keep their contracted benefits.
